Synthetic Colours are ingredients used as dye to enhance the appearance of your food and beverage products, There are two types of synthetic colours that are available on the market. These are known as Primary Water Soluble Colours and Lake Colours.

Primary Synthetic Colours

Primary Synthetic Lake Colours

Lake colours are colours that are used in products where there is insufficient moisture to take on the water soluble colours. Lakes provide a stable and more vibrant colour, and are extremely stable. They are best used in products containing oils and fats.
